Master Potter & Photographer Bhuvnesh Prasad Mr. Bhuvnesh Prasad was born on 22nd March 1976 in Delhi. His skills of Terracotta Craft are a blessing from his father, he already started practicing as a 10 years old boy. In 1992 he left school and started working as an individual artist. His work got an all-around appreciation when he got a State Award in 2000. He created a 10ft as well as a 4ft pot in 2002 in the Craft Museum, Pragati Maidan. He got the National Award for his unprecedented work in 2002. He has taught the terracotta craft to students in government and private schools, where he also introduced and presented the use of the electric wheel. He took this art to the villages of Rajasthan and inspired both men and women to adopt pottery as a career. Rajasthan Government honored him highly for this effort. He got the South Asia UNESCO Award in 2005 for Quality & Excellence in Handicraft Products.
His works include clay pots as small as 1 mm and as big as 16 ft.
